“I didn’t come this far to only come this far”
I love writing this quote on a post-it and placing it near my workspace because I find it so motivational. My goal is to always improve and get closer to my career goals. I always want to work to be my best and to never “half-ass” any of my work, anything I put out in to the universe I want to be happy that my name is on it.
“Don’t let mixed signals fool you. Indecision is a decision.”
This mostly has to deal with relationships. I’m currently in a relationship but this used to be my tell if a guy was interested in something serious or not. I don’t like playing games and this was the quote I always referred back to when asking myself if a guy was worth the investment or not.
“Some nights I wish I could go back in life. Not to change things, just to feel a couple of things twice.”
I’m a strong believer in being yourself and living in the moment. Sometimes we can let our self-confidence or stress get in the way of having fun or expressing ourselves. We have one life and one life only, its important to make every moment as enjoyable as it could be.
“What a strange world. We trade our days for things.”
I absolutely love this quote! It reminds me that what I do in a day should consist of the things I love and shouldn’t settle for a terrible 9-5 job. Of course, we’re gonna have to run errands and do things we dont consider fun but at the end of the day I want my work life to be something I really enjoy.
“In between goals is a thing called life that has to be lived and enjoyed.”
Throughout my time in college, I think I left myself out of many experiences because my end goal was to get work done, graduate and get a job with a great salary. I made it seem so black and white, where I didn’t leave room to breathe and relax. I made myself so stressed out with earning a degree and whether it should be in this field or that field. I just needed to pause for a bit and know with any type of degree, I would get a job.
